Progressing India- Introduction of "Banking" as a compulsary subject upto 8th Standard.

As New year is arriving, everyday we are hearing newer and lure announcements by the industries to market their products.
Now government is also not behind in making such announcements in academics. Few week back, MP Govt. announced to teach Bhagvat Gita to teach Moral lessons in the school.

Now RBI (Reserve Bank of India) has directed Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan Officers to add "Banking" as a compulsory subject from the new session. The core concept of the financial management " Saving and its importance" will be induced into the little minds with the help of character "Raju and his Money Tree". The booklet also consist of other chapters related to Banking System, Monetary Policy, History of Coins and Money making iedas.

Can say a good start to relate education to the real world, that what India needs to lead the world.
